Summary
We are seeking a Junior Contracts Manager to join our Yeovil team.
As a Junior Contracts Manager you will be mentored by senior management offering training and support throughout the progression of the role. Our intentions are for the persons applying for this role to develop into an experienced SCM with income that reflects.
The role will compromise of the following duties;
Shadowing of current Contract Managers and providing support
Packaging and sending tenders, estimates and reports
Assisting with the organising and planning of upcoming / ongoing projects
Attending surveys / meetings with customers and clients
Liaising with directly employed trades and subcontractors
Our requirements:
Have an excellent understanding of IT
Be able to always communicate professionally
Have a basic understanding of the construction industry and basic knowledge of building practices.
Full driver’s licence
Essential:
A can do attitude and commitment to the role.
Organisational and planning skills.
A good level of education and command of the English Language.
A full valid driving licence.
Good IT skills.
Desirable:
Experience in the construction industry.
A related qualification such as BSc, HND, HNC, NVQ level 3/4 or City & Guilds.
CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme.
Construction related Health & Safety awareness and responsibilities
