CNC Setter / Operator - Turning

Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Gloucester who are looking to bring in an experienced CNC setter operator to work on a turning machine on a permanent basis. This is a straightforward, hands-on role where you'll be valued for your skills and supported in a stable environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Setting and operating CNC turning machines to specification
- Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where needed
- Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure consistent output
- Reading and working from engineering drawings and blueprints
- Working closely with engineers to improve production processes
What we're looking for:
- Experience setting and operating CNC Turners
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- A reliable, hands-on approach to work
- GCSEs or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
