About the Role
As a General Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our care home runs smoothly and provides a warm, welcoming environment for our residents. You will support across three key areas:
Kitchen: Assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe, hygienic kitchen environment.
Laundry: Washing, drying, ironing, and organizing residents' clothing and linens to the highest standard.
Cleaning: Keeping communal areas, residents' rooms, and facilities spotless, following cleaning schedules and health and safety guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work flexibly across multiple duties.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Good time-management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential—training will be provided.
