We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team working on classic cars & motorcycles.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles through thorough inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, and tyre rotations.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
