Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Self Employed Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are cleaned to a high standard.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a tidy and organised work area at all times.
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled, including early mornings or late afternoons if required.
- Must have Liability insurance & Buisness Insurance for driving. ( doesn’t matter if car sharing needed).
