We are looking for a Data Analyst who can transform complex information into clear and meaningful business insights. You will work with operational, financial, and client data to identify trends, improve reporting processes, and support informed decision making across the company.
This is a mid level position suited to someone who enjoys working with data, solving business problems, and presenting findings in a way that is easy for both technical and non technical stakeholders to understand.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our office is located in central Lisburn, providing convenient access to local transport links, shops, and professional services. We promote a focused and supportive workplace where employees are trusted to manage their responsibilities and contribute ideas.

Modern Tools:
You will work with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, and cloud based reporting platforms. We continuously review our systems and processes to improve the quality and accessibility of our business data.
Professional Growth:
You will have opportunities to expand your technical skills, work on cross functional projects, and develop experience across financial services, business operations, and data reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Preparation:
Collect, organise, validate, and clean data from internal systems, spreadsheets, databases, and other business sources.
Reporting and Dashboard Development:
Create and maintain regular reports, dashboards, and performance summaries using Excel, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools.
Data Analysis:
Analyse operational, financial, and customer data to identify patterns, trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Business Support:
Work with finance, operations, client services, and management teams to understand their reporting requirements and provide relevant analysis.
Data Quality:
Monitor data accuracy and investigate inconsistencies, missing information, or unusual results before reports are distributed.
Process Improvement:
Recommend improvements to reporting procedures, data collection methods, and internal workflows.
Stakeholder Communication:
Present findings clearly to managers and colleagues using reports, charts, written summaries, and practical recommendations.
Documentation:
Maintain clear documentation for reports, data sources, calculations, and analytical processes.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, business reporting, financial analysis, management information, or a related role.
Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, and data analysis functions.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another business intelligence platform is highly desirable.
Knowledge of SQL and experience extracting information from databases would be an advantage.
Analytical Ability:
You can review large amounts of information, identify important trends, and produce accurate conclusions supported by data.
Communication Skills:
You can explain analytical findings clearly to colleagues who may not have a technical background.
Attention to Detail:
You take data accuracy seriously and check your work carefully before reports are shared.
Organisation:
You can manage recurring reports, respond to ad hoc requests, and meet agreed deadlines.
Education:
A degree or professional qualification in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related subject is preferred. Relevant professional experience will also be considered.
Mindset:
You are curious, practical, and comfortable asking questions when information appears incomplete or inconsistent. You understand that effective data analysis is not only about producing numbers but also about helping the business understand what those numbers mean.
