We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. As an Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced practitioners, supporting the care and development of children while enhancing your own skills in childcare and education.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities that promote children's development.
- Support the daily care routines of children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive learning environment.
- Manage small groups of children during activities, providing guidance and encouragement.
- Observe and record children's progress, contributing to assessments and reports as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating nursery environment that reflects the needs of the children.
- Drive initiatives to promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting.
Qualifications
- A keen interest in early childhood education and childcare.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to manage small groups effectively.
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally within the childcare sector.
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
