BBCS Limited is a friendly, family-run business providing commercial catering and refrigeration equipment servicing, repairs, installation and maintenance across the Midlands.
Established in 2003, we work with a varied customer base including schools, colleges, healthcare and care facilities, hospitality businesses and independent catering operators.
We pride ourselves on providing a professional, reliable service while maintaining the friendly and supportive working environment of a family-run business.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

- Refrigerated counters and preparation units
- Walk-in cold rooms and freezer rooms
- Ice machines
- Blast chillers and freezers
- Other associated commercial catering refrigeration equipment
Experience working within commercial kitchens or on catering equipment would be advantageous, although additional manufacturer and equipment training can be provided.
The role is field-based, attending a wide variety of customer sites throughout the Midlands. As a significant proportion of our customer base is within education, healthcare and care settings, the successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

The successful candidate should ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer
- Relevant refrigeration qualifications and current F-Gas certification
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience of servicing and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment
- Good electrical fault-finding knowledge
- A full UK driving licence
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a supportive engineering team
- Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers
Experience or qualifications relating to commercial catering equipment would be an advantage but are not essential.
Manufacturer training will be provided where courses are available, and there will be opportunities to develop additional skills within commercial catering equipment, installation and associated services.
