Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated private female live-in carers to provide personalized care and support within a private residence in Devon. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for the client, offering assistance with daily activities, medical needs and emotional wellbeing. The position involves living in the client's home on a full-time basis, ensuring continuous and attentive care alongside support.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Taking the client out for appointments
- Ordering and administration of medications
- Companionship
- Light housework
- Mobility support
- Meal preparation
- Personal Care
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 certificate in health and social care
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year professional care experience with a care certificate
- Have completed all mandatory online and practical training with valid certificates to prove it.
- The ability to pass a background check (enhanced DBS)
- A good knowledge of handling clients with dementia and stroke
- The ability to provide 2 professional references that can be verified.
- A good level of spoken and written English
- Right to work as self-employed in the UK (unfortunately, no certificate of sponsorship)
- Has a personal car and a valid driving license
