Intelligent Dairy Solutions (IDS), a division of Peacock Technology Ltd, provides precision technology for dairy farming. Our robotic and vision-based systems help farmers make smarter decisions that support animal welfare, efficiency and business performance.
We are growing and looking for practical, customer-focused people to join our Field Operations team.
About the role
We are recruiting Product Specialists to install, service and support IDS technology at customer sites across the UK, with occasional international travel.
This is a hands-on field role for someone who enjoys practical problem-solving, working independently, building strong customer relationships and learning about technology in the dairy sector.
What you’ll be doing
· Install, maintain and repair IDS robotic and vision-based systems at customer sites.
· Respond to service call-outs as part of an on-call rota.
· Complete routine servicing, fault finding and technical support.
· Provide clear, respectful support and practical training to customers, colleagues and distributors.
· Complete work reports, risk assessments and site activity logs.
· Work with the wider team to improve systems, processes and customer experience.
What we’re looking for
· Engineering qualification, HNC/HND-level education, or at least two years’ field service engineering experience.
· Practical electrical installation experience; 18th Edition would be an advantage.
· PASMA and IPAF qualifications would be desirable.
· Confidence using tools, digital systems and technical documentation.
· Strong practical problem-solving skills and good attention to detail.
· Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Full UK driving licence held for at least two years.
· Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.
· Interest in dairy farming or agricultural technology, with willingness to learn.
· Right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available for this role.
