Overview
From SCARAB’s main location in Marden, UK, you will spend roughly 60% of your time supporting the marketing communications activities of SCARAB (the OEM) and for the domestic sales operations of SCARAB in the UK (Scarab Sweepers) reporting to the Product & Market Specialist. In addition to this role in the UK, you will also be part of the Global RAVO-SCARAB Marketing Team, with a doted reporting line to the RAVO-SCARAB Marketing & Communications Manager (located in the Netherlands), spending the other 40% of your time supporting our global marketing activities.
You will help craft and deliver effective brand and product communications for leading brands (SCARAB & RAVO) in the street sweeping industry. As a proactive, hands-on professional you are helping plan, design and execute messaging across multiple marketing channels. To be effective in this role, you will need to develop a strong understanding of our products.
Responsibilities
As our Marketing & Communications Executive at SCARAB, your key responsibilities will be:
· Develop with your manager the annual Scarab Sweepers UK marketing communications calendar and take ownership for its execution.
· Working with Sales team to engage with customers – in person, and through lead generation.
· Plan & coordinate local events: local exhibitions, support company events and product demos.
· Coordinate photo & video shoots; help develop and manage company/product merchandise.
· Generate/manage SCARAB’s websites and social media content.
· Help develop and manage the updating of various marketing materials (brochures, videos, press releases).
· Support various CRM and market study actions.
· Manage, coach and support our Marketing apprentice, fostering their professional development and progression within the role.
· Some travel within the UK will be necessary for this role.
As part of the Global RAVO-SCARAB Group marketing team, you will:
· Work with the team to deliver the annual RAVO-SCARAB communications plan (global, EU, USA priorities).
· Work on global projects (new websites and content management, new publications & maintenance).
· Various other group tasks and projects (group exhibitions, worldwide dealer meetings, etc.).
· Some international travel outside of the UK will be required.
Skills and Abilities
The following would be preferred but not essential. There will be ongoing opportunity for training and development.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or similar – preferable.
· 2 years+ experience in a similar marketing role.
· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro).
· SEO, Google ads and social media ads experience.
· Website development experience.
· Experience managing social media accounts.
· Understanding of digital marketing campaigns.
· Ability to create engaging and professional content for multiple platforms.
· Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Team player with the ability to self-motivate and multi-task and work independently
· A keen eye for design.
· High level attention to detail.
· Proficient knowledge of MS Office.
· The ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
· Willingness to undertake product familiarity training.

Pay: £45,589.68 per year
