Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Yard Operative specialising in moving cars within our customers premises.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely manoeuvring vehicles, ensuring efficient yard organisation, and maintaining clear communication with team members.
you will have to have an induction/assessment and then if successful will complete a shift straight after.
Shift pattern ·
Twilight shift (1500-2330 Mon-Fri) - £14.84
Friday to Monday shift (4 days 7am to 3.30pm) - £12.92
Monday to Friday shift (6.30am to 3pm) - £12.91
Duties
- Safely operate cars around the yard.
- Organise and position vehicles in designated areas to optimise space utilisation.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections prior to movement,
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues regarding vehicle movements and yard operations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during vehicle manoeuvres.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence
- Proven experience in driving
- no more than 3 points
- Over 21 years
- Experience in similar roles is beneficial.
- Ability to operate safely and efficiently in a busy yard environment.
- This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently whilst maintaining excellent teamwork skills.

Pay: £12.91-£14.84 per hour
