Shrub & Stone Gardeners works across a wide range of residential and commercial gardens in South West London. We’re currently looking for a Part Time Gardener to join our team and help us deliver the excellent results our clients value.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Part Time Gardener, you’ll help maintain a wide variety of outdoor spaces – from small private gardens to larger commercial grounds. Your main tasks will include:
- Lawn mowing and edging
- Pruning, trimming, and shaping plants
- Weeding and general plant care
- Planting and garden enhancements
- Keeping gardens clean, tidy, and thriving
You’ll work closely with our friendly and experienced team, visiting different sites across the week. Helping build strong customer relationships and delivering great service with a personal touch.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
We’re looking for a skilled gardener who works with initiative and takes pride in their work. You should be confident handling all aspects of garden maintenance and have a solid understanding of plant care and presentation. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a professional gardening role
- Strong plant knowledge and attention to detail
- A practical, hands-on approach to tasks
- Good communication skills and a polite, professional manner with clients
- Physical fitness and a willingness to work in all weather
- A genuine interest in organic and sustainable gardening methods
- Reliability, punctuality, and a solid work ethic
