Responsibilities
- Remove, inspect, repair, and install tyres using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
- Conduct thorough tyre assessments to identify wear, damage, or punctures requiring attention
- Perform wheel balancing and alignment preparations to ensure smooth vehicle operation
- Assist customers with tyre-related inquiries, providing professional advice and excellent service
- Use heavy lifting techniques to handle tyres safely during installation or removal processes
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and services completed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area at all times
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle tyre systems and components
- Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers; familiarity with power tools is a plus
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks involving heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Prior experience in tyre fitting or automotive maintenance is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy tyres regularly
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to automotive repair environments

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,049.55 per year
