Overview
We have an opening due to retirment for an Automotive parts assistant. This could include someone who is approching retiment age or indeed already retired and just wishes to keep thier hand in on a part-time basis, or someone who is just out of education, and looking for an oppertunity to forge a career.
Responsibilities
- Duties will include the picking and dispatch of new and used automotive parts focused mainly upon the Subaru brand.
- Assist customers in locating and selecting the correct automotive parts, providing clear and friendly communication.
- Manage inventory levels, including processing and packaging items recived into stock.
- Listing items onto marketing chanels such as eBay and Facebook marketplace ect.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the parts storage area to facilitate quick and aqurit access and safety.
- Communicate effectively with technicians and suppliers via phone, email, and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Support maintenance tasks related to inventory management systems and physical storage areas.
- Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, team members, and suppliers.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, paperwork, and storage areas efficiently.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures related to inventory systems or automotive parts is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate good phone etiquette when handling inquiries or coordinating with vendors.

Pay: £8.00-£14.00 per hour
