Parosna is an independent neighbourhood restaurant, café and wine bar in the heart of Didsbury Village.
Our menus combine modern European cooking with regional Indian influences, served in a busy, fast-paced environment where quality, teamwork and attention to detail are everything.
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our growing team and play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
The Role
As Kitchen Porter, you'll be an essential part of the kitchen team, supporting chefs and helping maintain the standards required in a busy professional kitchen.
This is a physically demanding role and would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in being part of a successful team.
Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Receiving and putting away deliveries
- Assisting with stock organisation and storage
- Emptying bins and maintaining waste disposal areas
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Assisting with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Ensuring all cleaning schedules are completed to a high standard

Desirable
- Previous Kitchen Porter experience
