We are now looking for a friendly, skilled, and hands‑on Maintenance Engineer with (a Painting & Decorating Focus) to join our dedicated Engineering Team.

What You’ll Be Doing
As our Shift Engineer / Painter & Decorator, you will:
- Oversee daily engineering and maintenance operations in line with checklists
- Carry out high‑standard painting & decorating across guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house
- Respond to routine and urgent maintenance requests from all hotel departments
- Complete regular inspections and preventive maintenance across life‑safety systems and hotel facilities
- Ensure all statutory compliance is met and report any safety concerns
- Support and supervise external contractors working on site
- Work 8‑hour shifts across a 5‑day week (flexible schedule including weekends)
What We’re Looking For
You will thrive in this role if you have:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance, Shift, or Hotel Engineer (luxury hotel experience desirable)
- Strong painting & decorating skills with great attention to detail
- Certified knowledge in at least one engineering discipline
- A “can‑do” attitude and the ability to prioritise tasks independently
- Good communication skills (English preferred) in a guest‑facing environment
- Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach
A desire to grow your engineering career
