The Explorer Café is looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic cook to join our friendly team working in our busy café within the Tiso Outdoor Experience store.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Kitchen Manager with the day to day running of the kitchen.
- Assisting with the ordering of & close management of stock
- Ensuring all Health & Hygiene procedures are implemented & continually adhered to.
- Assist in the food preparation pre and during service
- Ability to learn & understand new cooking techniques.
- Ensures food leaves the pass timely
- Have the ability to work & train on every section of the cook line.
30-35 hours per week
The ideal candidate will be a team player able to create a positive environment in the kitchen.
This is a permanent daytime role with no evenings or split shifts required. Hours are worked on a 5 days from 7 rota including weekends.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a kitchen
- Ideally hold a Level 1 Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate
