This role is for proven, skilled groundworker who can operate at a high standard, work under pressure, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex groundworks projects. You will be part of a professional, well-equipped team working with the latest machinery, tools, vans and technology. You will be expected to take ownership of your work, support the site team, and uphold the exceptional standards our clients expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of groundworks including excavation, drainage, foundations, concrete works, rebar, block & brickwork, block & beam, reinstatement and surfacing.
- Operate excavators and other site machinery to a high standard.
- Read and interpret drawings, setting-out plans and technical data with confidence.
- Assist with setting out and ensure works are completed accurately and safely.
- Work to programme targets and maintain productivity under pressure.
- Maintain excellent site etiquette and professionalism at all times.
- Build strong working relationships
- Follow strict Health & Safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
Skills & Experience
- Experience using mini-diggers, power tools and hand tools.
- Excavator experience required
- Dumper ticket is advantageous.
- CSCS Card
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Full UK driving licence
- A positive, safety-first attitude
