Front of house Team Mamber
We would like to invite you to join our small but close family here at the Talbot in Kempsey.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take food and drink orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Restock bar supplies and inventory as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service
- The running of food to tables and the helping of clearing the resturant and garden
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages

- Worcester WR5 3JA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
