DS Lavender Ltd is an Electrical Contractors based in North Kent.
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team on a self employed basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical in both domestic & commercial settings. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems. The Electrician will ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations..

Applicants must have their own vehicle and tools.
Applicants must be well presented and be required deal with customers and tradesmen in a positive and professional manner. Will need to work well under pressure and have the aptitude to solve problems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work.
- In date CSCS card (ECS card preferable).
