We are seeking a dedicated and professional qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Providing compassionate patient care before, during, and after dental treatments
- Assisting dentists with procedures, including preparing instruments and ensuring patient comfort
- Managing the appointment book efficiently to optimise patient flow
- Greeting patients warmly and checking them in upon arrival
- Handling telephone enquiries and scheduling appointments via IT systems
- Maintaining accurate patient records in accordance with data protection regulations
- Ensuring the cleanliness and sterilisation of dental equipment and treatment areas
- Communicating clearly with patients regarding treatment plans and post-treatment care instructions
- Supporting administrative tasks such as billing, processing payments, and organising patient files
Qualifications
- Dental Nursing qualification is essential.
- Strong patient care skills with a caring and empathetic approach
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with SOE
- Ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail
- Professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and confidentiality
