You'll help young people who've had a tough start feel safe, valued and supported - sharing the everyday moments that help them grow in confidence and independence.

What you'll do
- Support children and young people through daily routines, activities and personal care
- Be a steady, positive presence - offering emotional support and encouragement
- Help deliver each child's care plan and keep clear, accurate records
- Drive young people to school, appointments and activities, keeping them safe throughout
- Work closely with the team to create a calm, engaging and homely environment
- Use our IT systems for day-to-day recording and communication
What we're looking for
- A caring, patient nature and the resilience to support children who've experienced trauma
- Good communication skills with children, families and professionals
- Reliability and a genuine commitment to young people's wellbeing
- A full UK driving licence (essential for this role)
- Confidence using basic IT for record-keeping
- Experience within children's residential care is essential
Renumeration
In addition to your hourly rate you will also be paid £80.00 per sleep shift
