Job Summary
We are seeking committed and skilled fabricating operators to join our ever growing team within our pvc/composite door facility. The ideal candidates will possess strong work ethics and have experience operating machinery such as inline welders, quad welders and mitre saws. Experience in window and door fabricating desired . You will play a crucial role in the production processes within our composite door facility ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and on time for our customers.
Duties
- Operate various machinery and equipment in the production line to produce PVC frames
- Hang and fit components accurately and efficiently according to work sheet specifications
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Composite door/pvc operations is desirable but not essential
- Experience with operating machinery, hand tools and power tools desirable but training will be given
- Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and work order sheets precisely
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement and can work off own initiative with little supervision
