Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Matcha Bar Supervisor to lead day-to-day bar operations, maintain excellent drink quality standards, and support the wider team in delivering exceptional service.
The ideal candidate will have experience with coffee preparation, matcha beverages, cold drinks, and hospitality operations, alongside strong leadership and organisational skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality matcha drinks, coffees, iced beverages, and other speciality drinks
- Ensure consistency, presentation, and quality standards are maintained at all times
- Deliver excellent customer service and engage positively with guests
- Supervise and support the bar team during service
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene standards throughout the venue
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and reducing waste
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Handle customer feedback professionally and efficiently
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, juice bar, or hospitality supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and milk steaming techniques
- Experience working with matcha and cold beverage preparation preferred
- Understanding of food hygiene and food safety principles
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-focused approach
- Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively
- Flexible availability including weekends and some evening shifts

Schedule
- Fixed rota
- Weekend availability required
- Day shifts with occasional evenings
Pay: £8.00-£13.00 per hour
