Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tyre Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. Duties
- Remove and replace tyres using appropriate hand and power tools with precision and care
- Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and punctures, providing recommendations for repairs or replacements
- Balance tyres to ensure smooth vehicle operation
- Perform routine maintenance on tyre fitting equipment and tools
- Assist customers by providing expert advice on tyre selection and maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Conduct tyre pressure checks and ensure proper inflation levels are maintained
- Document all work carried out accurately in accordance with company procedures
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in tyre fitting or automotive maintenance preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
- Experience with power tools used in tyre fitting is advantageous
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks on equipment and tools as needed
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling of tyres and equipment
- Attention to detail to ensure safety standards are met during all procedures
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality service

Pay: £24,420.00-£39,145.95 per year
