Overview
We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our busy independent café in Kemptown, Brighton. If you are passionate about coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.
What you'll do
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and speciality drinks.
- Confidently operate espresso machines and grinders.
- Produce consistently excellent coffee, including milk texturing and latte art.
- Welcome and serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Take orders and process payments accurately.
- Serve cakes, pastries, and light food items.
- Keep the café and coffee station clean, organised, and fully stocked.
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
What we're looking for
- Previous barista experience is essential.
- Confident using commercial espresso machines.
- Good milk texturing and coffee-making skills.
- Latte art experience is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well under pressure.

Pay: £12.21-£14.80 per hour
