We are seeking a friendly and professional Breakfast Waiter to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
- Serve breakfast dishes and beverages efficiently and courteously
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times during service
- Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed, supporting kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness of dining areas throughout service
- Handle guest enquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy breakfast hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions
- Experience with upselling menu items is a plus
- A friendly attitude with a genuine desire to ensure guest satisfaction
