Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth service, and supporting the overall guest experience. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, and a passion for food and beverage service is essential. All positions are paid, including internships, and provide valuable industry exposure.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing detailed information about menu items when required
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism and attentiveness to guest needs
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Handle payments accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems and process transactions promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests
- Support barista duties when required, including preparing specialised coffee drinks
- Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of service and food handling
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in order-taking and presentation
- Experience with food preparation or barista duties is a plus
- A proactive attitude towards delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
