This leadership role drives software development excellence within the networking domain by combining technical direction, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. The position plays a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions that support performance, scalability, availability, and flexibility goals across the product portfolio.

Lead a team of software developers by providing technical leadership and managerial guidance.

Recruit and mentor team members to expand team capability and individual development.

Review product requirements and feature requests, delivering development effort estimates and risk assessments to senior management.

Influence architectural decisions, design reviews, code reviews, test plans, and technology strategy.

Manage multiple concurrent projects to deliver committed features on schedule.

Foster continuous improvement in software engineering practices and product quality across performance, scalability, availability, and flexibility objectives.

Collaborate with software development teams, product line management, quality assurance (QA), and technical support teams.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in a software development role within the networking domain.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role and/or people management role.

Knowledge of network routers, switches, or routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.

Utilization of a Linux development environment.

Experience in open-source software development.
