Located in the bustling student and residential hub of Broomhill, our Sheffield site is a vibrant, fast-paced restaurant loved by locals. We are looking for an energetic, hospitality-focused General Manager to lead our team and drive our success.The Role as the General Manager, you will have total operational and financial accountability for the Broomhill restaurant. You will champion our brand standards, cultivate a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, and inspire a dedicated team of front-of-house and kitchen staff. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a perfect balance of sharp business acumen and a passion for exceptional hospitality.Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team.
- Shift Management: Run flawless, high-energy service shifts during peak times.
- Financial Performance: Manage labor costs, food waste, stock control, and P&L.
- Guest Experience: Maintain excellent service standards to maximize repeat business.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to food safety, health, and safety laws.
- Local Marketing: Drive community engagement and local student/resident footfall.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Restaurant GM or strong Assistant GM.
- Industry Background: Proven track record in high-volume, casual dining environments.
- Leadership Style: A visible, motivating leader who leads by example on the floor.
- Financial Savvy: Confident with rota management, stock systems, and budget targets.
- Passion: A genuine love for great food, Italian culture, and guest satisfaction.
