Lowestoft Shellfish Company Ltd is looking for a full time delivery driver to join the existing team within the next month. This opportunity would really suit somebody who wants to work full time with regular hours, who will appreciate having a good work life balance finishing early afternoon most days, unlike many other jobs where you are expected to work split shifts. The successful candidate will be required to deliver fish throughout Norfolk and Suffolk so knowledge of the local area will be an advantage. The applicant needs a clean driving license, ideally over the age of 25, must have multi-drop delivery driving experience and be physically fit. The successful applicant will be required to work 40 hours per week and must be trustworthy as often they will handle cash which they will be responsible for until checked by the management. They must be able to represent the company in a positive way when delivering to our valued customers. Good levels of personal hygiene are essential as are the ability to work well in a small team and work well under pressure. Packing fish will also be required at times to help the team to get the work done quicker. Pay will be above minimum wage with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays per year. Hours will fluctuate but will usually start at 6.00am until the work is done. This job involves lots of lifting so the applicant needs to be in good physical shape and has the flexibility to be called upon whenever required.
