What you will do
We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties. In this role, you will work closely with landlords and tenants to understand their needs and deliver a high standard of service.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlord clients, supporting them in achieving their property investment goals
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a residential property portfolio, including scheduling routine maintenance and coordinating emergency repairs
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants, ensuring a smooth tenancy experience. Maintain up-to-date tenancy documentation, renew tenancies as needed and manage the end of tenancy process
- Ensure all properties comply with current legal and safety standards
- Prepare pre-tenancy inventories and end of tenancy reports and conduct routine inspections during occupancy
What We Are Looking For
Our ideal candidate is a friendly professional who enjoys building relationships with clients and has a working knowledge of residential property gained from employment or study in real estate or building
This is a full time with working hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (40 hours) however a candidate able to work long part time hours will be considered and some flexibility offered
Requirements
- Experience managing rental properties or an understanding of the lettings process & tenancy law & regulation
- Familiar with property maintenance and the ability to identify and resolve common defects and arrange repairs and routine maintenance.
- Prepare accurate inventories pre tenancy, conduct property visits during occupancy and end of tenancy check out reports
- Competent user of the usual office software as well as inventory and estate agency apps
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- The role requires travel between properties. Applicants must be able to travel independently and reliably to carry out property inspections and viewings
