Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team on a self-employed basis, with the potential to move into employed status in the near future for the right candidate. This role is ideal for a skilled, reliable professional who takes pride in high-quality finishes and has additional trade skills that add value on site.
Works will be mainly across a number of refurbishment contracts. A company van, fuel card, and work clothing will be provided.
Key Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence – essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Painter & Decorator or in a similar role
- Qualifications preferred (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- High standard of painting and decorating across domestic and commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, finishes, and materials
- Additional skills are a bonus, such as:
- Ability to work independently with good problem-solving skills
- Professional attitude with a strong customer-focused approach

About the Role:
You will attend a range of domestic and commercial properties to carry out painting and decorating works, along with minor maintenance tasks where required. A flexible, positive attitude and strong attention to detail are essential to succeed in this role.
