Duties
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to control access and ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises
- Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying theft or vandalism and responding appropriately
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering questions, and maintaining a friendly yet authoritative presence
- Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency responders
- Perform regular patrols of the venue to check for safety hazards, security breaches, or unauthorized access
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure thorough documentation
Experience
- Prior experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable to effectively respond to medical emergencies
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential risks quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with team members, visitors, and emergency personnel
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling challenging situations professionally
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required by the role

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
