As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS. You will work collaboratively with your room team to create a stimulating, safe, and engaging environment that supports every child’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
You will build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and contribute to the smooth running of the nursery through excellent communication, organisation, and a proactive approach.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where young children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will lead activities, support children's individual needs, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality childcare. Your leadership and experience will inspire confidence and foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members alike.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging daily activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development in line with early childhood education standards
- Supervise and support children’s play and learning experiences, ensuring their safety at all times
- Lead by example in maintaining a warm, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Collaborate with colleagues to assess children’s progress and tailor activities to meet their individual developmental needs
- Support the management team in mentoring junior staff and new practitioners to uphold high standards of care
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, needs, and any concerns
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills within a childcare environment
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles requiring travel between sites or community engagement
- Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating enthusiasm for supporting young children’s growth and learning

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
