Location: This is a field-based job role and will typically cover North West - Cheshire &
Surrounding Areas.
(Further afield may be required as we do operate nationwide)
Vacancy Name: Mobile multi-trades builder / tradesman
Hours and Pay: Monday to Friday 50 hours per week, Paid Overtime, competitive salary
Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a versatile and experienced Multi-Trades Builder to undertake a variety
of construction and property maintenance tasks across residential and light commercial
projects. You’ll be involved in everything from refurbishments and extensions to general
building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of building tasks, including but not limited to:
- New Builds, alterations, refurbishments, building alterations, new roofs, plastering, decorating, general. You must be IT literate, as our company rl
repairs and maintenance.
- Joinery
- Plumbing
- Plastering
- Tiling
- Bricklaying
- Flooring
- Painting & decorating
- Work independently and as a team
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment ensuring your own work and work of
those under supervision is completed in a safe and diligent manner.
- Participate in the out of hours call out rota as designated.
What are SCB looking for?
- Proven experience across multiple building trades
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- CSCS card (desirable but not essential)
- Sound understanding of Health, Safety and environmental legislation and working
- practices.

- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications from £33,000 per year
