Night Senior Care Support Worker

£15.95 per hour | Full-time nights | 8:00pm – 8:15am | Every other weekend off

The Role
As our Night Senior Support Worker, you’ll be the senior presence in the home overnight. You’ll lead with confidence, ensure high standards of care, and provide reassurance to both residents and colleagues.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your calm approach, decision-making skills, and care values will shine.
You will:
- Lead the home overnight, ensuring it runs safely, smoothly, and professionally
- Deliver person-centred care that reflects each resident’s individual needs and choices
- Support, guide, and motivate the night team
- Administer medication safely and accurately
- Maintain clear, timely records (care notes, incidents, MARs)
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents or emergencies
- Promote dignity, independence, and positive outcomes for residents
- Complete thorough handovers to ensure continuity of care
We’d Love to Hear From You If You:
- Have experience leading shifts in a learning disability and/or mental health setting
- Are confident, organised, and remain calm under pressure
- Communicate clearly and lead by example
- Understand person-centred care and positive behaviour support
- Have a good working knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and health & safety
- Are comfortable working night shifts (8pm–8am)
- Hold, or are working towards, a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or above)

- £15.95/hour (nights) | £14.50/hour (days)
- £17.00/hour overtime | £21.75/hour bank holidays
- 28 days annual leave (pro rata)
