Doveleigh Care Limited are excited to be recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our award-winning residential care group in Devon on a full time basis. We are hiring for Dove Court Care Home, which is located in the lovely town of Seaton.

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Doveleigh Care Limited on a Full time basis, although we would also consider two part time positions for the right candidates. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents, contributing to their overall comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Follow daily cleaning schedules
- Ensure the home is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and comfort at all times
- Perform general cleaning tasks daily such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning surfaces to ensure all rooms and communal areas are kept clean and tidy and meet hygiene standards
- Assist with laundry duties when required
- Undertake less frequent cleaning tasks as and when required such as, spring /deep cleaning of vacated rooms, washing of paintwork, carpet cleaning etc.
- Carry out basic cooking tasks such as preparing and distributing simple meals/snacks such as breakfast or suppers
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning preferred
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with residents and staff
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
