Senior Manager – People Systems & Data
Location: Wolverhampton (Midlands HQ), hybrid · Reports to: Director of Organisational Development & Reward · Type: Permanent, full-time
As one of the UK's leading pub hospitality operators, Marston's runs hundreds of pubs and a large frontline workforce. The quality of the decisions we make about our people depends on the quality of our data and that's where you come in.
We're looking for a technically strong product manager to lead the requirements and roadmap for the systems and data that power our people information. You'll sit between HR, IT and Data - shaping what good looks like and driving delivery through our systems and delivery partners, so we get reliable, real-time workforce insight to support strategic decision-making, workforce planning and reward modelling. It's high-influence and genuinely varied.
What you'll do
- Lead the requirements and roadmap for how our people systems and data connect.
- Review our people-data landscape and shape the target-state roadmap.
- Partner with the specialist teams who own their platforms to make sure their systems integrate cleanly and to common data standards.
- Define the requirements for a trusted, single source of truth behind our dashboards, workforce planning and reward modelling and drive delivery through our partners.
- Work closely with our Head of Data & Systems in IT to set and maintain data standards, and be the go-to bridge between HR and our technical teams.
What you'll bring
- Deep HRIS / people-systems experience across multiple platforms.
- A product mindset - experience leading requirements and roadmaps and driving outsourced / partner delivery against a spec.
- Strong data literacy - SQL and/or BI tools with enough technical depth to write clear requirements and challenge partners' designs.
The ability to translate fluently between HR and tech, and the credibility to influence senior stakeholders
