Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Warehouse/Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with customers and team members. Duties
- Deliver goods to specified locations.
- Ensure timely deliveries whilst adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload deliveries safely, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Assist in warehouse activities as needed, including loading and unloading.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to transportation and logistics.
