Role Overview
As the leading figure in our Tax department in Northampton, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving our tax strategy. You will be responsible for providing high-quality tax advisory services, managing client relationships, and leading a team of tax professionals. This position requires a deep understanding of UK tax law, extensive experience in tax advisory and compliance, and the ability to deliver strategic tax solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage and grow the tax advisory and compliance practice, providing strategic direction and ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services.
Develop and implement innovative tax strategies and solutions to optimise tax positions for our clients.
Advise clients on a wide range of tax issues, including tax planning, compliance, M&A, international tax, and transfer pricing.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for business development and growth.

Ensure compliance with UK tax laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes in tax legislation and advising clients on the implications.

Qualifications & Experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience in tax advisory roles, with a significant portion spent in a senior leadership capacity.
Extensive experience working within a professional services firm or a large tax department.
CTA or ACA CTA qualified. ADIT is desirable but not essential.
In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation, with experience in advising on complex tax issues.
