Join a global business as a Financial Analyst where you'll take ownership of critical finance functions including sales compensation and commission calculations.
The One Group are recruiting for an experienced Financial Analyst to join a well-established, global business in Peterborough on a full time, temporary basis. This role is likely to run through until the end of the year, with potentials of an extension.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm (37.5 hours per week)
This is a hands-on role sitting within the wider finance function, supporting FP&A and taking ownership of areas including sales compensation, commission calculations, hedging adjustments, reconciliations and management information.
Responsibilities:
- Calculating sales commissions, compensation payments and hedging adjustments.
- Analysing accounts and reports, investigating discrepancies and validating calculations.
- Completing monthly accruals and reconciliations.
- Producing regular and ad hoc financial reports and presentations.
- Managing and maintaining dashboards and MI.
- Working closely with the FP&A Senior Manager and wider stakeholders to develop consistent processes and ways of working.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within financial analysis or FP&A.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills – including complex formulas, pivot tables and financial modelling.
- Confidence working with and manipulating large datasets.
- Ability to start immediately/at short notice.
