We are looking for dedicated and detail-focused Housekeepers to join the team at The George Inn, a beautifully restored coaching inn in the heart of Oakham.
We are seeking individuals who take genuine pride in their work and understand the importance of maintaining the highest standards throughout the property.
The Role:
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest bedrooms and public areas are presented to an exceptional standard at all times.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a welcoming and comfortable environment that encourages guests to return time and time again.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest bedrooms to company standards
- Change bed linen and replenish room amenities
- Clean and maintain bathrooms, bedrooms, corridors, and public areas
- Report maintenance issues promptly and accurately
- Ensure all areas are presented to a consistently high standard
- Manage housekeeping trolleys, equipment, and cleaning supplies
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
- Work efficiently to meet daily room turnaround targets
- Assist with deep cleaning schedules when required
Person Specification (About You):
We are looking for reliable individuals who take pride in delivering quality work.
Essential:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Desirable:
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning experience
- Experience working within hospitality
- Knowledge of cleaning standards and safe use of cleaning products
