Renewable Energy Heating/Solar/BESS Surveyor/Designer.

Redbridge and Sons Property Services are currently recruiting for a Renewable Energy Heating/Solar/BESS Surveyor & Designer, to join our further expanding workforce and be part of the company’s future development.
Redbridge & Sons Property services are a leading Heating, Electrical and Renewable Technologies company based in Gloucester and providing a wide range of Sustainable Energy Solutions for the drive to Net Zero for businesses and homeowners alike. This is an exciting and varied role with opportunities to work with the latest renewable and smart home energy technologies along with traditional heating systems in the retrofit market. Its also an opportunity for the successful candidate to progress their skills with a dedicated training and development plan, to include all the technologies and retro fit requirement training.
Requirements:
- You will be expected to work on various private domestic customers and commercial sites providing detailed surveys for retrofit projects for Heating & Renewable energy solutions.
- Complete heat loss calculations for the surveyed dwelling/office.
- Find the best solution for each project and create a comprehensive design and subsequently a quotation through our CRM system for the proposed solutions.
- The works will include a wide range of Renewable Energy product technologies for both domestic and commercial properties. Including, Air Source Heat Pumps, Zero Emissions Boilers, infrared heating and air-air heating/cooling systems, to work alongside other technologies such as Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging, LED lighting, air-conditioning and smart home systems.
- Attending sites and leasing with customers and clients.
- Working with the customers on ensuring their requirements are met, with further meetings and answering questions or adaptions to the initial designs, to create the finished solution the customer desirers.
- Supporting the delivery teams with delivery of projects as required.
- Good knowledge of Heating systems, eg: S Plan, Y Plan, vented and un-vented cylinders and Air Source Heat pumps,
- Good experience with Solar/BESS design applications such as PV Sol, Solar Edge designer, open solar would be ideal.
- Experience with heating design tools such as Heat Engineer, magic plan or spruce would be beneficial.
- Experience with health and safety processes and procedures.
- Good eye for detail and quality
- Be willing to travel – mainly Gloucestershire, Bristol and surrounding areas.
- Product training will also be provided to the successful applicant on specialist products.

Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Plumbing or equivalent experience would be ideal.
- Unvented Hot Water Storage systems or equivalent experience preferably.
- Qualified Retro-Fit Assessor. (Not essential as training can be provided)
- Good understanding of electrical circuits advantageous.
- PV Design software experience advantageous
- Full Driving License.
Working Week: 40 Hours per week. (Full time position)
Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm with 1/2 hour for lunch. Some overtime may be available.

Salary negotiable dependent on experience, ranging between £29,000 up to £37,500.00
