The Role
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting young people while acting as a role model for the wider team.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting young people with daily routines and development
- Building positive and trusting relationships
- Promoting safeguarding and positive behaviour support
- Supporting care planning and record keeping
- Leading shifts when required
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Contributing to positive outcomes for young people
What We're Looking For
- Experience within a Children's Residential Care Home
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
- Passion for supporting young people to reach their potential
