Who We Are
At Chapel House Estate, we craft unforgettable, bespoke weddings and one-of-a-kind celebrations. Set within 35 acres of peaceful countryside, less than a mile from the East Kent Coast and just over an hour from London, we offer a truly unique setting for our guests. We are proud to promote biodiversity across our grounds, championing sustainability through homegrown produce, local partnerships, and environmentally responsible practices.
Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate, experienced and personable Bar Staff member to join our team at Chapel House Estate, a luxury wedding and events venue set in the countryside.
You will play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for our guests, providing friendly and professional service throughout weddings, private events and celebrations. Responsibilities will include taking customer orders, preparing and serving drinks, working confidently behind the bar and ensuring the bar area is kept clean, organised and fully stocked.
Previous bar experience is essential, with cocktail and event experience an advantage. You will need excellent customer service and communication skills, a professional and positive attitude, and the ability to remain calm and organised while working in a busy, fast-paced and often noisy environment.
Teamwork is key, as you will work closely with our wider events team to ensure every event runs smoothly and our high standards are maintained.
Due to the nature of weddings and events, weekend availability and the ability to work late nights are essential. Shifts can finish as late as 2am, particularly during evening wedding receptions and celebrations.
As Chapel House Estate is located in a beautiful rural setting where public transport is limited, having your own transport or reliable means of getting to and from the venue is essential.
If you are confident behind a bar, enjoy working with people and take pride in delivering outstanding service at memorable events, we would love to hear from you.
