Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products according to specified recipes and standards
- Operate machinery and equipment safely, maintaining mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues when necessary
- Follow strict HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) protocols to ensure food safety at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the production area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Conduct basic math calculations for portioning, weighing, and measuring ingredients accurately
- Support quality control checks by inspecting products for consistency, appearance, and compliance with specifications
- Record production data accurately, including quantities produced, machine performance, and safety checks
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets efficiently while maintaining high safety standards
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of food production processes and equipment operation
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery maintenance is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and safety standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or production environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
