This is a great opportunity for a skilled Mechanical, Electrical and Trim Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and wants to develop their career within a growing national accident repair group.
The Role
As an MET Technician in Darlington, youll play a key role in the repair process, dismantling, diagnosing, repairing and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards.
What Youll Be Doing
Dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles safely and efficiently
Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and carrying out necessary repairs
Working to manufacturer-approved repair methods and quality standards
Using modern diagnostic equipment and repair technology
Working closely with Panel Technicians, Paint Technicians and other members of the bodyshop team
Ensuring repairs are completed safely, accurately and efficiently
Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
What Were Looking For
Previous experience as an MET Technician, Mechanical Electrical Trim Technician, Vehicle Technician or Bodyshop Technician
Experience working within an accident repair centre, bodyshop or similar automotive environment
Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical and trim systems
ATA or IMI accreditation is desirable but not essential
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality repairs
A professional approach with pride in your workmanship
