We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior stylists and contributing to the overall success of the salon.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
- Perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional recommendations.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and boost salon revenue.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
- Assist in front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
- Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge, techniques, and best practices.
- Contribute to store management tasks as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in barbering techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience with eyelash extensions and makeup application is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining integrity in client relationships.
- Previous experience in mentoring or training junior staff is preferred.
- A valid hairdressing qualification or certification is essential.
